This school is based in Kalavad, which is part of the Jamnagar district. We have been working out of this building for years, and it's become a bit of a landmark for the locals. It is a secondary school, so we deal with students who are growing up fast and getting ready for their future. The rooms are basic, with wooden desks and chalkboards that we use every single day. In the mornings, you can hear the chatter of students all the way down the street. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the gates, take the attendance, and get through the syllabus. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just open all the windows to let the breeze in. The staff room is usually full of papers and half-finished cups of tea. It's a busy place but in a very normal, everyday kind of way. We see parents coming by to check on their kids' progress or to pay the fees. We try to keep things running smoothly, even if the schedule gets a bit messed up sometimes. That is just how it goes in a small town school. Our address is right in Kalavad, so we are easy to reach for anyone living in the 361160 area. It’s just us, the students, and the daily work we have to do together. There is always something to fix or a report to write.
