If you take the Nikava Old Piper Road, you will find us right in the heart of Nikava village in Jamnagar. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. The school building is simple, reflecting the life of the village around it. We have a courtyard where everyone gathers in the morning. The rooms are basic with enough space for the local kids to sit and do their work. Because we are in Nikava, a lot of our students come from the farming families nearby. You can hear the sounds of the village from the classrooms, like a tractor passing by or animals in the distance. We do not have air conditioning or fancy labs, just the essential books and blackboards. The teachers are part of the community here; they know the parents and the grandparents of the children they teach. It is a very grounded atmosphere. During the monsoon, the road can get a bit muddy, but the kids still make it to class. We follow the traditional ways of running a school. There is a lot of focus on just getting the work done and making sure the children learn their lessons. It is a humble place, and we like it that way.
