Shree Lokmanya Vidyalaya

Our school is out on the Jamangar Rajkot Highway, specifically in the Jambuda area. It is a bit of a drive from the main city of Jamnagar, but we have been here for a while now for the kids from the surrounding villages. The school building stands out against the landscape. Every morning you can see the buses pulling in and the children running toward the main gates. It is a lively place once the bell rings. We have classrooms that have seen many batches of students come and go over the seasons. Being near the highway means it is easy for people to find us, even if it gets a bit dusty with the trucks passing by. We have a playground where the kids spend their breaks, and it's usually quite loud during those times. The staff mostly comes from nearby, so everyone knows each other. We do not try to be anything we are not; we are just a local school for the families around here. The routine is the same every day—prayers, classes, lunch, and more classes. Sometimes the power goes out or we have to fix a leak in the roof, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a practical place where learning happens in a very normal, everyday kind of way for the people of Jambuda. Most of the teachers have been sitting in the same staff room for years and they know exactly how the school runs.
