Khajuria Food Mall

Our food mall is out on Satwari Airport Road in the Miran Sahib area. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, near R S Pura. We have a good amount of space here compared to some of the tiny shops in town. It isn't a mall like the ones you see in big cities with theaters and shiny elevators. It’s just a collection of food stalls and seating under one roof for people to use. We get a lot of people who are heading to the airport or coming back from work in the surrounding fields. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and casual. We don't have a fancy dress code or anything special like that. Most days it’s just the sound of the fans and people chatting while they eat. We started this because there weren't many places to eat on this long stretch of road. It’s a family-run thing mostly, and we stay busy. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. The building is plain and we like to keep it that way. In the winter it gets a bit chilly, but we have enough space for everyone to sit inside and stay out of the wind. It’s a practical spot for a meal if you are traveling through Jammu. We don't have a complicated system. You just walk up, get what you want, and find a seat. It’s a straightforward business for regular folks in the Miran Sahib area. Just a simple place to stop.
