Vyanktesh Farmer Producer Company Limited

Vyanktesh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Gut No. 108 in Golapangri. This is right in the Jalna district area where most of us have been farming since we were young boys. We didn't want to keep working alone, so we joined up to form this company. It makes things a bit easier when you need to buy seeds or talk to the bank. Our place at Gut 108 is not a showroom or anything like that. It is mostly a shed where we keep the bags of cotton and some old equipment that we all share. The sun gets really punishing out here in the afternoons, so we do most of our heavy lifting in the early morning. We grow what the soil allows, usually cotton and some grains when the rain is decent. We aren't business experts with degrees. We just know how to read the clouds and when to harvest. Sometimes the paperwork for the company gets confusing and we have to ask the younger ones to help us out. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to make sure we can sell our crops for a decent price so we can keep going next year. If you come by Golapangri, you'll see us out there in the fields. It is a quiet life, but it's ours and we are used to the hard work.
