Shivchandra Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Ganesh Nagar in the Ghansawangi area. Our official address is House Number 225. This is in the Jalna district. We are basically a group of local people who joined up to handle agricultural tasks together. We don't have a big corporate building or a receptionist. If you come to H. No. 225, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some farm records. We deal with the day-to-day realities of farming in this part of Maharashtra. The heat can be tough and sometimes the water is scarce. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just farming and managing the business part of it. We help the members of our company get their crops ready for the market. It’s a lot of manual labor and honest effort. Most of us have lived in Ghansawangi our whole lives. We aren't outsiders. We know the struggles that come with every season. Some years are good and some are pretty lean. We just take it as it comes. We aren't here to make any grand promises or talk about being the leaders in the field. We just want to do our jobs and help our community. That is why we started this company in the first place. It is a simple life and we are okay with that. There is always more work to be done tomorrow.
