We are just a bunch of farmers from around Bhamberi here in the Ambad area. Most of the time you can find us at house number 211 where we keep our papers and talk about the season. It isn't a big office or anything fancy like what you see in the cities. We started Kanke Deva Farmer Producer Company Limited because it made sense to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing alone in the heat. Jalna gets pretty dry, and the soil needs a lot of care. We grow what we can and try to figure out the market prices. Sometimes the rains are good, and other times we just manage. Our families have been farming this land for a long time, so we know the dirt well. If you come by the house, there’s usually someone around to talk about the crops or the seeds we are using this year. It's a simple operation. We don’t have fancy machines for everything, but we get the work done. Being a producer company just means we pool our resources. It's better for the small guys in the village. We keep things honest and just try to make a living off the land without too much trouble. It is hard work, but it is what we know. We are just local people trying to make the most of what we have in this part of the district.
