Out in Jalmana village, near Goela Kalan, we have our small setup at house number 62. We spend our time working with fruits and vegetables. It's a busy life, especially during the harvest months. This company is really just a bunch of neighbors who decided to join forces. We were tired of trying to handle everything on our own, so we started this producer group to share the load. It’s not a corporate office. It’s more like a meeting spot where we figure out who is doing what. In this part of the country, you have to be ready for anything. The sun can be brutal, and the rain is never quite enough or it’s way too much. We grow what we can and try to make sure it doesn't go to waste. Most of us have been in Jalmana all our lives. We know the ground here and what it can do. We don’t make big promises. We just try to get the produce sorted and moved along. It takes a lot of effort to keep things running, but we are used to it. Every day there is something new to fix or a different crop to check on. We just stay focused on the work and keep moving. It’s a simple arrangement between people who trust each other.
