Shivtirthraj Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office is at House Number 56 in Kukadgaon. This is in the Ambad area of Jalna. Shivtirthraj was set up because we saw that the individual farmers in our village were struggling to get good prices for their produce. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. We are just local farmers who decided to put our resources together. Most days, you’ll find a couple of us at the house, looking over the accounts or talking to someone who just brought in a load of grain. It’s a very local operation. We know the land in Kukadgaon really well, and we know what grows best in this soil. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people hear about us through word of mouth at the local tea stalls or the market. It’s about being practical and honest with each other. Sometimes the crops don't do well, and we have to figure out how to handle the loss together. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real. We use everyday tools and try to keep our overheads low. The goal is just to keep our families going and maybe make things a little easier for the next generation of farmers in this part of Jalna. It takes a lot of time to get everything right with the rules, but we are doing it step by step. We just stay focused on the work.
