Suman Kalyani Agro Producer Company Limited

Our group is located at G. No. 141 in Hasnapur, which is part of the Ambad area in Jalna. It’s a pretty basic setup we have here. We started Suman Kalyani because a few of us felt that working as a single farmer was getting more difficult every year. Jalna gets quite hot, and the water isn't always there when you need it. By forming this company, we hope to manage things a bit better together. We spend a lot of time sitting around under the shade, discussing which fertilizers are worth the money and which ones are just talk. We aren't business experts with degrees; we are just people who know how to grow things in this specific dirt. The office at Hasnapur is just where we keep the books and meet up. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, and we have to ask for help, but we're getting the hang of it. It’s about making sure the families around here have a bit more security. We grow what the season allows and try to keep things simple. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a lot of muddy boots and honest talk about the weather. If you come by G. No. 141, you’ll see it’s just a regular farm site. We’re just trying to do okay by our members and the land we’ve lived on our whole lives. It is hard work, but we are in it together.
