Vitthal Kakde Agritech Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is run out of Vitthal Shamrao Kakde’s house, which is House Number 61 in Dhanora. We are in the Sillod area, zip code 431001. Vitthal Kakde Agritech is basically a bunch of local farmers who decided to team up. It’s a farmer producer company, which means we are the ones in charge of our own stuff. We don’t have a fancy storefront or a lobby. It’s a home-based operation where we sit around and figure out the best way to deal with our crops and the new technology coming out for farms. The agritech part is important because things are changing fast in the fields. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a neighbor has a problem with their yield, we talk about it here. It’s a community thing as much as a business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the different plots of land. Being in Dhanora, we know everyone around here. It’s a quiet spot but we stay busy with the records and the distribution. We aren't polished business people; we are just guys who know the dirt and the rain. We handle the selling together so we don't get pushed around by the big buyers. It’s hard work, but it’s ours. You can find us right there at house 61 if you need anything.
