Tulsivinayak Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started Tulsivinayak Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to do something together as a group here in Nivdunga. We are based out of the house belonging to Shri Vinayak Raybhan at Nivdunga in the Jalna district. It is not a big office with a lot of staff, just us farmers sitting together and figuring out how to sell what we grow. Jalna can be a tough place to farm when the rain does not come on time, so we figured being a company would help us get better prices for our crops. We do not have any fancy marketing people or anything like that. We just focus on the everyday work in the fields. Most days, you will find someone at the house mentioned in our address, likely talking about seeds or the market rates for the week. We try to keep things simple and honest. We are all neighbors here and we have known each other for a long time. It is a lot of physical work and sometimes we spend hours just talking under the shade of a tree. We are not trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of by getting our produce out there in a better way. It is a slow process and we are learning as we go, but that is how things are in Nivdunga. If you are ever around, that is where we will be.
