Our company is Tarde Bandhu Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at Post Jamkhed in the Ambad Taluka of Jalna. The office is actually care of Manaji Sitaram Tarde, so it’s a real family-run setup. Around here in Jalna Jalna-431204, everyone knows the Tarde family. We are farmers first. We decided to start this company to help ourselves and the other farmers in our village. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more of a place where people drop by to talk about the rain or the price of grain. We spend a lot of time out in the fields, so if you come by the office and nobody is there, we are probably working the land. We handle things like seeds and fertilizers for the local community. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. The paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, especially with all the rules for producer companies. We just do our best to keep everything straight. Life in Ambad is simple but busy. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face. It’s about helping each other out. We’ve been here a long time and we plan on staying. Being Tarde Bandhu means we treat everyone like brothers. We are just local folks trying to keep the farming tradition going strong in our corner of Maharashtra. It is hard work but it is our work.
