Swaym Gramvikas Agrotech Farmer Producer

This group started out in Bahirgad, which is part of the Ghansawangi area in Jalna district. We are based at House Number 03. It is a very rural spot, which makes sense since we are all involved in farming ourselves. We put this company together to try and handle the agrotech side of things for the village. Mostly, we are just neighbors working together to find better ways to grow things. Jalna can be a tough place for farming because of the water situation, so we spend a lot of time talking about how to manage that better. Our office is just a small house where we keep our records and meet up. There is not any fancy furniture or air conditioning. We just sit on whatever chairs are available and talk about the crops. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to see what other farmers are doing in the wider district. It is not a big corporate thing at all. We are just trying to get better tools and methods into the hands of the people living here in Bahirgad. It takes a lot of time to get everyone on the same page. We have our fair share of arguments about how things should be done. But at the end of the day, we all live in the same village. We just keep plugging away at it, hoping the next harvest is better than the last one. It is honest work, even if it is slow going.
