Smartsoft Agrotech Producer Company Limited is located at Gat Number 18 in K.P. Gaon, which is part of Ghansawangi in the Jalna district. The name might sound a bit modern, but at the end of the day, we are just farmers with dirt under our fingernails. We live in the 431501 area and have been working these fields for as long as we can remember. We started this group because we wanted to try some new ways of doing things. Maybe use a bit of better technology or smarter methods to handle the crops, but it’s still all about the soil and the water. It’s hard work, especially when the Jalna heat gets really intense in the summer months. We spend our days checking on the plants and making sure the irrigation is working like it should. We aren't experts at everything, and we are learning as we go. Sometimes a new idea works, and sometimes it doesn't, but that’s just how farming is. We talk to each other about what’s happening in the market and try to plan ahead. Our office is just a simple spot in the village where we meet up after work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk or corporate stuff. We just want to do our work better so our families can have a better life. It’s a local effort, run by people who actually live and work in K.P. Gaon every single day.
