Shriyashwanti Agro Producer Company is located at House Number 25 in Kandari Ambad. This is in the Ghansawangi area of Jalna district. We are just a bunch of local farmers who felt that we might do better if we worked together under one name. Farming in Jalna is tough, mostly because the water is never quite enough and the market prices for our crops go up and down without much warning. Our office isn’t anything special, just a room in the house where we gather to talk. We spend a lot of time discussing which fertilizers are worth the money and how to keep the pests away. Joining up as a producer company helps us when it’s time to buy supplies. It’s a lot cheaper to buy in bulk than for each of us to go on our own. There is no corporate management here. It’s just us trying to figure things out as we go along. We take care of our own books and try to keep everything straight. If you come through Kandari Ambad, you’ll see we are just another part of the village. We focus on our fields and making sure we get our produce to the right people. It’s simple work, and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We don't use big words or fancy promises. We just farm and try to support our families like everyone else here.
