Shri Sant Gulabbaba Agro Producer Company Limited

Down in Kolibodkha, you'll find our small group based at Manohar Hajare’s place. That is in the Paithan area of Aurangabad. It’s a quiet village where almost everyone makes their living from the land. We named the company after Sant Gulabbaba because it felt like the right thing to do for our community. We aren't a big commercial outfit. We are just local farmers who decided to pool our resources to make things a little easier. The office is really just a desk and some chairs at Manohar’s house. We spend our days worrying about the same things every farmer does, like when the rain will start and how much the seeds are going to cost this year. Being in the Paithan area, we have a long history with agriculture. We deal with whatever crops grow well in this soil. It’s not an easy life, but it’s the life we know. We started this producer company to try and get a bit more control over how we sell our crops. Dealing with middle-men was always a big struggle for us. Now we try to handle the logistics ourselves as a group. The address 431121 is where you can find us if we aren't busy out in the fields. We don't have a website or a marketing person. We just talk to people face to face. It’s a very local way of doing business, and we try to keep the paperwork straight despite the long days of work.
