Our company, Shri Kalika Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at Gh No. Wadhonata in Bhokardan. We operate out of Sandip Santosh Gawane’s place. It’s a local setup, very much integrated into the daily life of the village. You won't find any glass doors or air-conditioned lobbies here. Instead, it’s a place where you can hear the birds and the tractors in the distance. We spend a lot of our time sitting with the local farmers, hearing about their troubles with the soil or the market prices. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. Sandip is usually around to handle the main queries, and the rest of us just chip in where we can. The office space is basically a room with some sturdy tables and enough chairs for whoever drops by. We don't really have set corporate hours because farming doesn't really work that way; if someone needs us early in the morning, we are usually there. The dust from the fields is a constant presence, and we have given up on trying to keep the floor perfectly clean. It’s an honest way to work, and we like being part of the Bhokardan community. We focus on the practical side of things, like getting the right supplies to the right people at the right time. There’s no fancy talk here, just plain English and a lot of shared tea. We just do what needs to be done.
