You can find us over at Pangri village in the Sillod taluka. We run Shreevishveshwara Shetkari Producer Company Limited from Sachin Jadhav’s place. It’s a local effort through and through. We are all farmers who have spent our lives in these fields. Getting this company started was a way for us to have more control over what happens to our produce after it’s picked. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us, the people who live here in Pangri. We meet up to talk about the soil, the seeds, and who is going to take the trucks to the market. It’s a very hands-on job. Sometimes we disagree on things, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with friends and neighbors. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We grow things, we pack them, and we sell them. It’s as simple as that. The office is just a room where we keep our files and sit down when the sun gets too hot. We’re proud of being from Sillod and we want to see our local farmers do better. It takes a lot of effort every day to keep things moving, but we’re used to the work. We just take it one season at a time and hope for the best. It's not always perfect, but we are doing it for the village.
