Our office for Shirale Agrotech Producer Company Limited is at Shri Godawari Sopanrao Kavle’s house in Hatwan. We are located in the Jalna district, specifically in the Hatwantq area. This is where we all live and work. We aren't some distant company; we are your neighbors. The idea behind starting this was to bring the local farmers together so we could have a bit more say in how our crops are sold. It gets exhausting trying to do everything yourself. At the house in Hatwan, we keep track of who is growing what and when the harvest is expected. It’s a lot of manual record-keeping and talking things through. We don't have a polished website or a big marketing budget. Our focus is purely on the agriculture and the people doing the work. The days are long, especially when we’re out in the heat. But when we get together at the end of the day, it feels like we’re making progress. We deal with all kinds of local produce. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, like when the market prices fluctuate, but we deal with it as a group. We’re just trying to be smart about how we farm and make sure the village stays productive. It’s a very basic, honest way of doing business, and that’s how we like it. There is no need for anything more complicated than that.
