If you look for H.No. 41 in Antarwali Sarathi, you’ll find us. This is where Seva Sahkar Agro Producer Company Limited got its start. Being in the Ambad area of Jalna, we’re right in the middle of a lot of farming activity. It gets dusty and hot, but we’re used to it. Most of us grew up watching our parents work the same fields we do now. We decided to put this company together because doing things alone was getting harder every year. When you are just one farmer, nobody really listens to you. But when a bunch of us from the village come together, we can actually get things done. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning or anything. It's just a simple setup where we handle the business of the crops. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage. We talk to the other farmers around Ambad and try to see who needs what. Whether it is getting better fertilizer or figuring out where to send the harvest, we just talk it through. It’s not a corporate thing at all. It’s just a group of people who live near each other and want to make sure the work we do in the fields pays off. We spend a lot of time on our tractors or walking the rows, so the company stuff happens in the gaps between the real work. It’s a local life.
