Savitai Hi-Tech Producer Company Limited is located out in Siraswadi, which is in the Jalna district. We use a space at Shivaji Sukhadev Dhage’s place, at Gate Number 261. It’s a rural area, so things move at a bit of a different pace than they do in the bigger cities. Most of our work revolves around farming technology and helping the local producers get better results from their land. Even though "Hi-Tech" is in our name, we are pretty down-to-earth people. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and looking at how things are growing in the fields around Siraswadi. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the week's plans. Jalna is a big area for agriculture, so there is always something to do regardless of the month. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly chasing after the weather or trying to fix a piece of machinery that’s acting up. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just a group of people working together to make things a bit easier for the farming community here.
