We set up Satyameshwar Agro Producer Company Limited right here in Jalna. You can find us at Dagduba Thombre’s place on the main road in Jawkheda Thombari. It is a local thing we started to help each other out with the farming. Jalna gets quite dry, so we have to work together to make sure we get the best out of our land. The office is just a simple spot on the road where we meet and talk about the crops. We don't have any fancy corporate stuff or big speeches. It is mostly just neighbors trying to get a fair price for what we grow. Most of us have been farming this ground for our whole lives. We decided that having a company name would make it easier to deal with the markets. Sometimes the paperwork is a headache, but we manage. If you are coming through Jawkheda Thombari, you’ll see us. It is not hard to find. We spend most of our time out in the fields rather than sitting at a desk. That is just how it is. We handle the grains and whatever else is in season. It is hard work and the weather doesn't always go our way, but that is part of the job. We are just a group of people from the village trying to make things work a little better for everyone involved. No big promises here, just farming.
