Sanjyot Crop Science Private Limited is located at 13 Shiv Nagar, which is right off Ambad Road in Jalna. This part of Maharashtra is big on farming, so we decided to set up shop here to be close to the action. Our place isn't anything fancy. It’s a straightforward office where we handle all the work related to seeds and crop health. We don't have a big marketing budget or any glossy advertisements. We mostly rely on word of mouth from the farmers who come by. The office can get a bit cluttered with soil samples and different types of seeds, but we like it that way. It shows we are actually doing something. Ambad Road is a busy spot, so we see a lot of people passing through. We spend our days talking to locals about how to get a better yield or what to do about pests. We use simple English and don't bother with corporate jargon that no one understands. Life in Jalna is centered around the harvest cycle, and we are no different. When it’s hot, we stay in the shade, and when it’s planting season, we are busy from sunrise. We just want to help the farmers around here do a bit better for themselves. It’s practical work and it keeps us connected to the land, which is what we’ve always known.
