S Tanuja Agrotech Producer Company Limited

We started this group at Gandharitq in Ambad because farmers around here needed a better way to handle their crops. Jalna gets tough weather sometimes, so being part of S Tanuja Agrotech helps us stay organized. My house, number 40, is where we mostly meet up to talk about what's going on with the soil and the harvests. It isn't a big fancy office, just a place where things get done. We deal with the seeds and the selling ourselves now. Most people here have been farming their whole lives. We know the land well. It’s a lot of work getting the paperwork right for a producer company, but it makes things easier when we need to get supplies together. Being in Ambad, we are close enough to the main roads to move things around. We just wanted a way for the local growers to have a bit more say in how their stuff gets sold. It’s basically just us neighbors trying to make the farm business work better for everyone involved. Sometimes we have meetings on the porch when the weather is nice. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just trying to keep the farming life going here in the district. It’s better when we work as a group rather than everyone just doing their own thing and hoping for the best. We don't really have a front desk or anything. You just walk in. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the table but we know where everything is.
