Rajkunwar Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over here at House No 525 in Pithori, which is part of Sirasgaon Ambad in the Jalna area. Most of us have been farming these lands for as long as we can remember. It gets pretty hot out here and the rain doesn't always come when you want it to. A few years back, we realized that selling our crops on our own wasn't really working out. We were all doing the same work but getting nowhere. So, we got together and started Rajkunwar Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s not a big fancy office or anything. We mostly just meet up and talk about what we’re planting and how we can get a better price at the market. Some days are harder than others, especially when the tractors break down or the market prices drop suddenly. We don't have a lot of big machines yet, but we share what we have. It’s just how things go in Ambad. We wanted a way to make sure the work we do actually pays for the bills at home. Being a farmer is tough, and doing it together makes it a little bit easier to handle. We don't really have a big staff, just some of the local guys who know the land. We spend a lot of time just talking things through. Sometimes we meet at the house to figure out the paperwork, which is always a headache. We are just trying to keep the farms going for the next generation.
