Purna Kelana Farmers Producer Company is located in Garkheda, which is part of the Bhokardan taluka in Jalna. We are right in the heart of the village, so we are always surrounded by what’s happening in the local fields. The office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet with the farmers who are part of our group. Being in Jalna, we have to deal with some tough weather, but the people here are resilient. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who grew up in this area and decided to start something to help the local producers. Most of our days are spent out in the sun or sitting in the office trying to sort out the logistics of moving produce. It’s a bit of a walk to the main road, but we don’t mind the quiet of Garkheda. We handle everything from seeds to selling the final crops, and there’s always some problem to solve. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do right by the people we work with. The office is often dusty, and the tea is always hot, which is how we like it.
