Pirolasamarth Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited

We started Pirolasamarth Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited right here in Pirola. It’s a small operation based out of Janrao Ramchandra Kale’s place. Most of us here in Taluka Sillod spend our days out in the fields, so setting this up seemed like the right thing to do for the village. Farming is hard work and the weather doesn't always play fair. We mostly deal with the local crops that grow well in this soil. It’s not a fancy setup with big offices. We usually meet up at the house or out near the sheds to figure out what needs doing for the next season. Everyone involved is from around here, so we all know each other's families. Sometimes we talk about seeds or tools, other times it's just about getting the harvest to the market without too much trouble. It's mostly about making sure the people growing the food get a fair shake. We don't have a big team of experts, just folks who have been handling dirt and seeds since they were kids. The office is really just a desk in the corner of the house. We keep our records there and try to stay organized between the planting and the reaping. There’s always something to fix or a neighbor needing a hand with their tractor. That's just how life goes in Sillod. We are just trying to keep things moving along and help the farmers here get through the year.
