P. Chepate Agro Producer Company Limited

You can find us at House Number 171/1 in Ramgavan Bk. That's over in the Ambad area of Jalna district. P. Chepate Agro is a small operation run by local people. We aren't trying to look like a big corporate office. Our building is just a normal house where we do our business. Most of the time we are out in the fields or at the market. When we are at the office, we’re usually dealing with accounts or talking to the farmers who are part of our group. Being in Ramgavan, we understand what the soil here needs. We handle things like seeds and fertilizers and help move the crops. It's a lot of manual work and coordination. Sometimes the phones don't work great, or the roads are bad, but we manage. We aren't polished and we don't use fancy talk. We just say things as they are. The company was set up to help us get better prices and share the load of farming. It's tough work but it's what we've always done. If you come by the house, you'll probably see some sacks of grain or some tools lying around. It's a working space, not a showroom. We’re just regular folks trying to make the agro business work for our neighbors and ourselves. That’s the long and short of it.
