Over in Dawalwadi, near Badnapur, things are pretty quiet most of the time. That is where Nathshakti Krushivikas Farmer Producer Company Limited is located. We operate out of Chayya Prakash Kadam’s place. It’s not a big office, just a home base for us farmers in Jalna. We’ve been tilling the same land for generations. We thought if we got together as a producer company, we might have a better shot at selling our produce. We don’t have much in the way of fancy equipment, but we know our soil. Every morning, you’ll see people heading out to the fields. The sun gets really hot in this part of Maharashtra, so we start early. We grow what the land allows. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating, but what can you do? We keep pushing forward. It’s about more than just money; it’s about keeping the village alive and making sure the next generation knows how to work the ground. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just talk about the rains and the pests and the harvest. It’s a simple setup. If you happen to be passing through Badnapur, you might see us.
