Mudeshwar Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Sachin Ramesh Salve’s place in Sillod. House number 608 is where we usually meet up to talk about the crops and what needs doing for the season. Being in Aurangabad, the weather is often a struggle, especially when the rains don't show up on time. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to put our names together on some paperwork so we could handle things better as a collective. There isn't any big corporate office here with fancy chairs. It is just a regular house in the village where we keep our records and talk shop. Most of us have been working these fields since we were kids, and we know the soil around Sillod pretty well. The point of this whole thing is just to help each other out when it comes to getting seeds or trying to find someone to buy what we grow. Sachin helps keep the papers in order because there is a lot of that these days. It can get confusing with all the rules, so we try to stay organized at his place. We aren’t trying to be some big national company. We just want to make sure the families here in Aurangabad can keep their farms going without too much trouble. If you come by House 608, you’ll probably find a few of us sitting around discussing the market prices or the next harvest. It’s simple work and we like it that way.
