At Kundlikrao Patil Farmer Producer Company Limited, we are mostly based out of house number 329 in Banegaon. It’s a quiet part of Ghansawangi here in Jalna district, where almost everyone you meet has something to do with the land. We aren't trying to be some big corporation or anything like that. This whole thing started because a few of us realized that farming on your own is getting tougher every single year. You have to deal with seeds, fertilizers, and then trying to find someone to buy the crops at a price that actually covers your costs. By getting together as a producer company, we figured we could help each other out a bit. It’s not always easy, and we spend a lot of time just figuring things out as we go. We are just local people from Banegaon who know the dirt and the seasons. Most of our meetings happen right here in the village where we live. We don't use any fancy language or complicated plans. It's just about the crops and making sure the farmers in our area have a voice. Sometimes the rain is late, or the pests are bad, and having this group helps us not feel so alone in it. We just focus on the practical side of things, like moving the harvest or getting the right inputs for our fields. We are neighbors doing our best with what we have.
