Down in Tembhurni, in the Jalna district, we have been working these fields for a long time. Our group, Kuldaivat Farmers Producer Company Limited, is based right at Shree Vithal Pralhdrao’s place at G.No-1433/1. It’s a busy spot most mornings. You’ll find people coming in and out, talking about the market or the soil. We aren’t some big corporation from the city. We are just farmers from Tembhurni who decided it was better to work as one unit. Living in Jalna, you have to be tough because the weather doesn't always go your way. We grow what we can and help each other out when things get rough. The name Kuldaivat is important to us, feels a bit like home. We spend our days dealing with the actual work, the planting and the harvesting, rather than sitting in front of computers. Most of the guys here have known each other since we were kids. This company is just a way to make sure our families get a fair deal for the hard work they put into the ground. It’s a local thing, through and through. We don’t have any polished speeches. We just know how to farm and how to look after our neighbors in Tembhurni. If you see us at the site, we’re probably covered in dust and busy with the latest crop. We aren't doing anything fancy, just growing food and sticking together for the long haul.
