Krushisewa Mahila Farmers Producer Company Limited

Krushisewa Mahila Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit different because it is run by the women here in Meshkheda. We are located at H.No. 226/1 in the Mantha taluka of Jalna district. It started because we wanted to have more of a say in how our crops are sold and how the farming is handled around our homes. We are mostly mothers and sisters who also happen to be farmers every single day. Jalna can be a busy place, but our village is a bit quieter than the main town. We spend our mornings out in the fields and then we come together later to manage the company business. It is hard work balancing the home chores and the farm tasks, but we have a good rhythm now. We don't have any professional marketing people helping us with fancy words. We just use our common sense and what we’ve learned from our parents and grandparents over the years. The office is just a humble space in the village where we keep our books and talk about the price of fertilizer or when the next harvest is coming. It’s a real community effort for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big claims or promises. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and that our hard work is respected.
