Our group is called Krushi Laxmi Farmer Producer Company Limited and you can find us at Survey No. 234 in Ward No. 5 of Patoda. We have been around this area for a long time, working the land and seeing how things change season after season. Patoda is a place where everyone knows everyone, so starting this company felt like a natural thing to do for the community. We use our space here to gather and talk about the seeds, the water, and how to get the crops to where they need to go. It’s not a polished business with a lot of staff in suits. Usually, it’s just a few of us in dusty boots sitting around a table in the afternoon. We handle the agro stuff the best way we know how, which is by being honest and working hard. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it serves its purpose for the farmers around here. We don't spend money on big ads or trying to look like something we aren't. We’re just local people trying to make the farming life in Ward No. 5 a little more stable. Some days are tougher than others, but that’s just part of being in the agriculture business. We stick to what we know and try to help the other farmers in Patoda whenever we can. It’s a simple way of living and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
