Jalorion Crop Science Private Limited

Out here at Jalora, near the post office in Ghungardehadgaon, is where we set things up. We are working out of Santosh Penak’s place. It’s a quiet spot in the Ambad taluka of Jalna. We focus on crop science, but don't let the name make you think of big labs and white coats. It’s mostly us looking at plants and trying to figure out why some grow better than others in this specific dirt. We spend a lot of time outside. The office is small and usually has a few bags of samples sitting in the corner. People from around the village stop by to ask questions or just to see what’s new. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know a bit about farming and science trying to make things a bit easier for the local farms. Some days are slow, especially when the heat gets bad, but we keep at it. The road out to Jalora isn't the best, but we like it here. It’s where we belong. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from answering the phone to checking the inventory. We’re just regular people who wanted to do something useful for the crops in our district. It isn't perfect, and we're always learning as we go, but we are here every day. We usually finish up when the sun goes down and walk home through the fields.
