Jalna Agricoss Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out in Panshendra village, right here in the Jalna district. We are set up at Shri Krushna Narayan’s place, which is where we usually meet up to discuss what we are doing next. Farming in this part of the country has its ups and downs, as anyone around here will tell you. One year you have plenty of water, and the next you are looking at the sky every morning praying for a cloud. We started this company because it felt like the right thing to do for the families around here who have been working the dirt for generations. It’s not a polished operation with big desks or anything like that. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, trying to figure out the best way to handle our crops and get things sorted. Panshendra is a quiet spot, and we like it that way. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about the soil quality and which crops might do better this time around. It isn't always easy, and sometimes we disagree on the best way to move forward, but we always figure it out in the end. We just want to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just local people working together, dealing with the heat and the hard work of the fields.
