Hakvane Krushivikas Producer Company Limited

Hakvane Krushivikas Producer Company Limited is based out of a house in Kasturwadi, which is in the Badnapur area of Jalna. We use House Number 129 as our main spot to meet and handle the business side of our farming. Jalna gets pretty hot, and the ground can be dry, so we spend a lot of time thinking about water and how to keep the plants growing. A few of us local farmers decided it was better to be a group, so we put this company together. We are not doing anything fancy here. Most days involve sitting around and looking at the numbers or talking to someone who came by from a nearby village. The office is right in the middle of where we live, so it is easy for anyone to just walk in and ask a question. We deal with whatever the season brings us, whether it is grain or something else. It is just a bunch of neighbors working on the same stuff. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get supplies or sell what we grew, but this house in Kasturwadi is where everything starts. We don't have any big goals for the world, just keeping the farm work going and making sure we can get through the next harvest. It is a local thing for local people who know the dirt around here. It helps to have a place to sit and talk together.
