Gurukunj Hi-Tech Producer Company Limited

Gurukunj Hi-Tech Producer Company Limited is basically just us working out of Sakharam Kaduba Mnikuleh’s place. It’s house number 168 over in Janefhal, near Jafrabad. Jalna is where we are mostly, and it gets really hot here in the summer months. We called it Hi-Tech, but honestly, we’re just trying to use slightly better tools than our fathers did. We share things like tractors or sprayers when someone needs them. Sakharam's house is where we keep all the records and have our meetings when the sun is too high to be out in the dirt. It’s not a corporate office with desks and stuff. It’s a home where we talk about the harvest and how much the merchants are offering this week. Sometimes the kids are running around while we try to look at receipts, which can be a bit distracting, but that’s just how it is here. Most of us have known each other since we were small. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a lobby. If you want to find us, you just look for the house in Janefhal. We deal with whatever crops are in season, mostly cotton or grains if the rain was okay. We just want to make sure everyone gets a fair shake when it’s time to sell. It's a lot of manual work and checking the sky for clouds, but we manage.
