Growthonics Farmer Producer Company Limited

Even though we called it Growthonics Farmer Producer Company Limited, we are just a small group of farmers working out of Udhav Baburao Dhande’s place. The address is G.No.50 and G.No.431204, though most people just find us by asking around the neighborhood. We don’t have a sign out front or anything like that yet. It’s mostly just sacks of grain and people talking about the cost of fertilizer. We started this because we were tired of the middlemen taking everything. Now, we try to handle the buying and selling ourselves. It’s a lot of paperwork that none of us really likes doing, but it’s necessary if you want to stay in business these days. The weather around here can be tough, and some years the crops just don't want to grow. We spend our mornings checking the fields and our afternoons trying to figure out the logistics of moving the produce. It’s not a fancy life. We wear boots that are usually covered in mud and we drive trucks that have seen better days. But we know our soil and we know what it needs to produce a good yield. We’re just trying to grow the company bit by bit, the same way we grow our crops. It takes time and a lot of patience. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
