Gramindharti Farmer Producer Company Limited

Gramindharti Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group we put together here in the Jalna district. Most of us live and work around Vithal Nagar in the Ghansawangi area. We use Shri Ghogale Chatrboj Maroti’s place as our main contact point because it is easy for everyone to get to. Being farmers, we know that the soil here is what keeps us going, so we named the company after the land itself. We aren’t some big corporation from the city, just local people who grew up in these fields. Most days we are busy looking at the weather and seeing how the crops are coming along. We started this because it was getting harder to manage everything by ourselves. Now we can pool our resources and maybe get a better deal on seeds or tools when we need them. It is a practical way to handle the business side of farming which none of us really liked doing at first. We are learning as we go. It’s a lot of talking under the porch and signing papers when we have to. It feels good to have a name for what we do together. We stay focused on the work in Ghansawangi and try to keep things moving forward for everyone involved in the group.
