Darshana Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are just a bunch of farmers from Jalna who decided to start Darshana Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our office is at H No 122 in Eard Wadgaon, which is basically the house of Urmila Dattatray Narw. Things here are pretty quiet most days. We spend a lot of time out in the fields and then come back to the house to talk about what needs doing next. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a table and some chairs where we try to figure out the best way to deal with the crops and the markets. It gets hot in Jalna, especially around the harvest time, but we just keep at it. Most of us have known each other for years, growing up in this area. We handle everything ourselves, from the seeds to trying to sell the produce without getting a bad deal. Sometimes it is hard to get everyone together because there is always work to do on the land. We do not have a lot of big machines, so it is a lot of manual labor. If you come by the address in Jalna, you will probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some papers. We just want to make sure the families here can keep farming and maybe have a little extra at the end of the season. It is just us doing what we know how to do.
