D B Surase Patil Agro Producer Company Limited is located at house number 118 in Bhendala. That’s in the Ghansawangi taluka, over in Jalna district. We are a small group of folks who know the agro business because we live it every day. The office is really just part of the house, which makes it easy to get to work early in the morning. We handle a lot of the local produce and talk to the farmers nearby. Jalna can get pretty hot and dry, so we spend a lot of time worrying about water and how the crops are holding up. We aren't trying to be some big city company. We just want to make sure the work gets done right here in Bhendala. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and looking over the ledgers. It's practical work. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and whatever else the season calls for. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait, or we work by the light of the sun coming through the window. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but there is always a lot to do before the sun goes down and we head home. We know everyone around here, and they know us by our family names. We just try to keep things simple and honest. No big speeches or fancy logos, just the name on the wall and the work in front of us.
