Chhatrapati Krushiputra Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Raniwahegaon in the Partur taluka. We are in the Jalna district. The office is at house number 51/52. We chose the name because we are all sons of the soil, basically. Most of the people here have grown up on these same farms and have known each other for years. We decided to register as a company so we could help each other with things like buying fertilizers in bulk or selling our cotton and grains. It’s a very rural spot, and we like it that way. We don't have a big budget for advertising. We just rely on the word of mouth around the village. If a farmer needs help, they just walk over to the house and we talk it out. It is a bit informal, maybe, but it works for us. We have long discussions about the water levels and which seeds worked best last year. There are no fancy presentations here, just some notes in a notebook and a lot of talking over tea. We are just trying to make a living and keep our farms going for the next generation of kids. Raniwahegaon is a small place, so everybody knows where our office is. We are just local guys trying to figure out the best way to keep the harvest profitable. It is tough work, but it is ours and we are proud of it.
