We are located over in Ni Pokhri, specifically at Vitthal Shrirang’s place. It’s a quiet area here in Jalna. Bhutekar Farmer Producer Company Limited is really just a bunch of us locals getting together to figure out the farming business better. We spend most days out in the fields or talking about the rains. Sometimes we meet up at the office to discuss prices or what seeds might work for the next season. It’s hard work, but being in Jalna means we know the soil pretty well. We aren’t a big fancy office with glass windows. It's more of a practical setup where we can sit down and talk shop. Most of the people involved are neighbors or relatives from the surrounding village. We try to help each other out with getting the crops sold at the right time. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking on the warehouses or making sure the transport is lined up. We don't have a lot of staff, just people who know the land. If you come by the address near Shri Vitthal Shrirang’s, you’ll probably see us around. It’s not much to look at, just a place where work gets done. We started this to make things a bit easier for the smaller growers around here. It’s been a learning process for everyone involved, but we are keeping at it day by day and hoping for the best with each harvest.
