Bhokardan Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at Survey Number 22 on the Sillod Road in Bhokardan. We are in the Aurangabad area. The company started because some of us felt that being separate made us weak when dealing with the markets. We have this plot on the road where we can meet. It is a simple place, nothing fancy at all. We grow what the land here allows, mostly grains and some local produce. We aren't experts in business, we are just farmers who are learning how to run a company as we go. It’s a lot of work to keep the records right and make sure everyone is happy. Sometimes there are disagreements, but that is part of being a community. We don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just us doing the work. We wanted to have a way to buy fertilizer and seeds together so it costs less. That is the main reason for this whole thing. We stay busy with the land most of the year. When we are not in the fields, you might find us at the Sillod Road office talking about the next season. It is a practical, honest effort by people who live right here in Bhokardan. We are just trying to make ends meet and look after our families. It’s not about growth or being big, just about making the farm life a little more stable.
