B.D.Patil Farmer Producer Company is based in Boargaon, in the Jafrabad area of Jalna. We operate out of Bhaskar Dashrath's place. It’s a quiet village and most of us have been here our whole lives. We started this company because we wanted to have more control over how our crops are handled. It isn't a fancy setup. We have a small office with a few chairs and a lot of registers. You won't find any shiny signs or corporate branding here. We are just farmers who decided to work as a team. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the weather. Other days are so busy we barely have time to eat. We deal with whatever the season brings us. Dealing with the paperwork for a producer company can be a headache sometimes, but we manage. We don't have a lot of employees, just a few local guys who help out. Most people in Jalna know the Patil name, so they trust us to be fair. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone gets a fair shake. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just keep moving forward one day at a time. It takes effort to keep everything running but we are used to it.
