Baneshwar Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited

We are a group of women farmers from Banegaon in the Ghansawangi area of Jalna. Our company, Baneshwar Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited, is based at House Number 265. We started this because we wanted to have our own way of doing things and helping our families out. Farming is hard work, and doing it as a group of women makes a big difference for us. We spend our days in the fields and then come together to talk about how to sell our produce or what seeds to buy next. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate staff. It’s just us, sitting in the village and making decisions for our farms. We aren't trying to be some big, polished company. We just want to make a decent living from our land. Sometimes the paperwork is a bit much for us to handle, but we help each other out and get it done. We know our soil and we know what grows best here better than anyone from the outside. Our address is right in the heart of the village. Most of us have been doing this our whole lives, so we don't need anyone to tell us how to farm. We just needed a way to be more organized. We don't use big marketing words. We just work hard, look after our children, and try to make sure our crops are okay. It’s a plain and simple life here in Banegaon and we are proud of it.
