Wavs

Wavs is tucked inside the Hotel Maharani Palace on Station Road in Jaipur. It’s a very busy area because we are right near the bridge and the railway station. You can always hear the horns and the general chaos of the street from outside, but once you get through the hotel doors and find us, it gets a lot quieter. We’ve been here for some time now, and we see all sorts of travelers coming in from the station looking for a place to sit. We also have people from around Jaipur who know the spot and come in specifically for the lounge. The name is spelled a bit different, just W-a-v-s, which people sometimes ask about, but it’s just the name we have. Our day usually starts with checking the bar setup and making sure the furniture is where it should be. It’s a practical space. We don't have any big corporate speeches to give. We just run the place. The lights are usually low, and we try to keep things relaxed. Working near the station means there’s never a dull moment, but we stay focused on what’s happening inside the room. We take care of the bottles, the glasses, and the customers as they come. It’s just a local spot inside a hotel where you can grab a drink and take a break from the Jaipur heat and the traffic on Station Road. It's nothing too fancy, just a room with some chairs and a bar.
