Akshy Dham Restaurant & Resort

We started Akshy Dham Restaurant & Resort here in Sodala on Bhagwan Marg a while back. It’s a busy spot near New Sanganer Road and there is always something going on with people coming in and out of the city. Being in Roop Vihar means we see a lot of the same faces every day which is nice for us. The place has a few rooms for people staying over and we spend a lot of our time making sure the kitchen is running right and the floors are clean enough for everyone. Jaipur gets really hot in the summer so we try to keep the fans going and the water cold for whoever walks through the door. It isn’t some fancy five-star place but it works for what people need when they are traveling or just looking for a meal nearby. We don’t really do much advertising because most folks just find us by walking past or hearing about us from their neighbors. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud but inside it’s usually alright. We have been at A-33 for a long time now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are busier than others especially during the wedding seasons or when there’s a lot of travel happening through Sodala. We just keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing every single morning.
